McSwain and Kimberly Fuhrman were both selected to lead classes at Midwest U 2017. Some well known speakers present included Paul Aubin, James Wedding, Lynn Allen, David Cohn, and Steven C. Shell.

No, Midwest U is not as large as Autodesk University in Las Vegas, but think of Midwest U as an equally impressive, scaled down version. Each day started with a informative and entertaining General Session, followed by two classes before lunch. After lunch there were three more class slots and then a very nice social mixer on the evening of day 1. The exhibit hall was open most of the time on both days, and one notable advantage of being a smaller conference, was that our rooms were just a short walk away in case you needed to grab a forgotten item!

The staff of CAD Technology Center, who puts on this conference was well prepared and very helpful to all. Each participant was given a small tablet computer which came in handy for navigating the Midwest U app.  If you are interested in attending in 2018, go to the website link above and sign up for email updates.
