GITA Seeks Papers for Oil & Gas Conference

GITA, the Geospatial Information & Technology Association, has issued the Call for Papers for its 14th Annual GIS for Oil & Gas Conference, set for September 19-21, 2005, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Houston, Texas. This year, two new conference topics — distribution and gathering and nontraditional regulatory requirements — join the traditional range of topics. The conference theme, "Got Data? Use It! Leveraging Geospatial Technology," will focus on how gas and pipeline organizations can get the most out of technology using GIS investments effectively and efficiently. The submission deadline is April 29, 2005.
