CAD Managers Unite on Facebook

12 May, 2010 By: Robert Green

CAD Manager's Toolbox: The lesson is, if you can't find the social networking forum you're seeking, make your own!

I received a good deal of feedback in response to my recent advice to use LinkedIn or Facebook to network with your peers. However, to my great surprise, there was no CAD management–specific group on Facebook.

That's not true anymore!

You can now join the "CAD Managers Unite!" group on Facebook and participate in my social media experiment. I hope that members will provide the following input to the group:

  • Tips
  • Tricks
  • News items
  • Cool links
  • Video clips

... and anything else you can think of! All I ask is that you play nice, keep the language clean, stick to CAD topics (no politics, for example), and always give proper credit to the rightful author of any links you post. (I reserve the right to delete anything that I deem to be in violation of these requirements.)

Let's see where the Facebook CAD management experiment goes!

Do you have a helpful tip or item for the CAD Manager's Newsletter? Send it to me at rgreen@cad-manager.com. If I use your tip in the newsletter you'll receive a cool Cadalyst prize!
