Bricsys Releases Bricscad v9 for Developers of Engineering Solutions

Release includes associative dimensions, an in-place WYSIWYG mtext editor, Quick Select tool, a Wipeout feature, and a BRX API.


Bricsys announced yesterday that the company has released Bricscad v9 ($345-$625, depending on version) for application developers of engineering solutions. Bricscad v9 is designed to bring applications for AEC, GIS, civil, and mechanical engineering to the DWG community. The new release includes associative dimensions, an in-place WYSIWYG mtext editor, Quick Select tool, a Wipeout feature, and a BRX API for porting ARX based code and running BRX applications (requires Bricscad Pro).

The English version of Bricscad v9 will be officially released in September 2008. Starting this week, the beta version of Bricscad v9 is available for download from the company's Web site.
