Lest you think no one cares about pickles, consider that Americans eat more than 2.5 billion pounds of pickles a year, which amounts to 20 billion pickles. Divvied up per person, that comes to more than nine pounds per year. But seeing as only 67% of households eat pickles, that means many people are eating more than their share.
