Q&A Series: Autodesk Subscription, Part 214 Aug, 2009 By: Cadalyst Staff
This Q&A is part of a series from Cadalyst and Autodesk in which the company answers readers' questions about its software subscription policies. See also the Cadalyst article, As Software Subscriptions Lapse in Down Economy, Autodesk Clarifies Policies.
Question: How do I log into Autodesk Sub Center / Why can’t I log into Sub Center?
Autodesk responds: After becoming an Autodesk Subscription customer, your designated Contract Manager (CM) will receive an e-mail with a personal access URL inviting him or her to set up your company’s Subscription Center access. This email includes a user name and password. Once the CM activates the account and accepts the Subscription Terms and Conditions, he or she can invite Software Coordinator(s) and other end users to the site as well. Those individuals will also receive a welcome e-mail with user name and password.
If you are having trouble logging in, it may be because your welcome e-mail did not include user name and password information, which may be because you already have an account with another Autodesk Portal (Partner Portal, Learning Center, etc.). In this case, you can use the same user name and password. If this is not helpful, you can try the “Forgot User ID” and “Forgot Password” tools.
If you have never received a user name and password for Subscription Center, please ask your CM to invite you to the site. Once invited, you will receive an e-mail with your login information. There is also a “Need Help?” icon. This will lead to an FAQ page to assist with problems logging in. At the end of the FAQ there is a Request Additional Help form that sends your request directly to the Autodesk Business Center for expert help. Our Business Center Reps are highly trained for all Subscription Center log in issues.
