Frequent tipster Leonid Nemirovsky sends us a tip about dropping files directly into AutoCAD from Windows Explorer to load or start them immediately. "You can also drag and drop script files; AutoCAD will automatically run them, saving you a few command strokes." View the complete tip and post your feedback.
Zoom Extents in All Tabs
Derek Beals sends us a routine he wrote to tidy up his drawing automatically. "I run this routine to make sure Zoom Extents is performed in all tabs upon saving and exiting a job file." View the complete tip and post your feedback.
Using Fields in Attributed Text
Mike Dunn sent us this tip on using fields in block attributes for file path and name information. "With this process, the only way to change this data is to rename the actual CAD filename." View the complete tip and post your feedback.
