Autodesk is offering the Inventor Publisher Mobile Viewer for free download. The application is designed for use with Autodesk Inventor Publisher technical communications software, which helps manufacturers explain their products with 2D and 3D product documentation. The software can publish 3D interactive instructions to iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch mobile devices.

ProgeCAD USA is offering a 30-day free trial of progeCAD 2010 Professional, which is now available in French. ProgeCAD 2010 Professional supports the DWG, DXF, and DWF file formats, and can output to graphic raster formats including JPG, JPG2000, ECW, TIFF, and BMP.
Autodesk Extends Free Student License Duration
Autodesk is extending the license terms for all free versions of the student software related to its online Education Community from 13 to 36 months. This license term extension applies to over 25 products available for free download on the Autodesk Education Community.

Autodesk Sponsors CGarchitect Rendering Revolution Contest
Autodesk, with the support of NVIDIA, is sponsoring online magazine CGarchitect's "Rendering Revolution," a still image architectural visualization competition. To be eligible, participants must create a still image of an architectural scene incorporating the 3ds Max 20th anniversary logo in a recognizable and creative form.
Spark Awards Solicit Design and Architecture Entries
The Spark International 2010 International Design & Architecture Awards is accepting entries until October 10. The new, multi-disciplinary design competition encourages positive solutions to design problems.
Autodesk Invites Submissions for Design Visualization Reel 2010
Artists and designers who have recently used Autodesk software to create 3D animated content or still imagery for architecture, civil engineering, or manufacturing projects can submit their best work for possible inclusion in the Autodesk Design Show Reel 2010. The reel will be showcased at Autodesk University. The deadline for video submissions is October 8, 2010.
