Toggle Polyline Conversion
Tipster Bachir Bekkaye has a helpful tip to try when you're using the PEdit command to convert objects into polylines in AutoCAD. For me, this setting is a must. I prefer to keep peditaccept turned on (set to 1), but if you are worried about accidentally converting an object, leave it turned off. View the complete tip and post your feedback.
Justify Text without Movement
Kevin Land can't stand "jumping" text when he's working in AutoCAD, and he's found a way to prevent it. "I hate it when text moves, when all I wanted to do was change the justification point." View the complete tip and post your feedback.
Match Properties in Multiple Drawings
Frequent tipster Leonid Nemirovsky shares an interesting tip that expands the usefulness of the Match Properties command in AutoCAD. "I have a small and rather unusual tip. I noticed by sheer accident that the Match Properties command works across any number of open drawings." View the complete tip and post your feedback.
Classic Tip: Add Text to Dimensions
Alex Enoch sent us tip number 3153, which was published in March 2009. If you have ever dimensioned a drawing and needed to restore the true dimension value, this tip is for you. It also provides instructions about how to edit dimension text in two different ways.
