Move Dimension Text Position with X,Y Coordinates
Richard Farlow sent in this trick for getting your AutoCAD dimension text to change positions by using the Properties palette — without leaving paper space. "Getting dimensions and text to display correctly can be a pain," said Cadalyst tip reviewer Brian Benton. "This is a great trick that is very easy to do." Drag and Drop in AutoCAD

Remove Formatting from Text

Hitachi–GE Nuclear Energy Wins Bentley Special Recognition Award
Bentley Systems announced that Hitachi-GE Nuclear Energy's Integrated Plant Construction System project has won a 2012 Be Inspired Special Recognition Award. Japan-based Hitachi-GE Nuclear Energy was chosen for its high-quality and reliable power plant construction system, according to Bentley. The project won in the Bentley Developer Network category.
MCAD: JT2Go for Windows 8
Siemens PLM Software has released the JT2Go app for Windows 8, available for free download. Based on JT, the first ISO International Standard for 3D visualization and collaboration, the new JT2Go app enables users to view 3D JT files on Windows 8 computers and tablets for free. The app features a gesture-driven interface designed for touch-enabled devices.
AEC: Leica Infinity
Leica Geosystems released Leica Infinity, its office software for management, visualization, processing, and georeferencing of combined total station, imaging, and scanning data from the Leica Nova MS50 MultiStation. Scan data can be inspected, cleaned up, and recalculated with total station setups. Multiple scans can be combined for the creation of information-rich surfaces.
