This Week's Software Tips
Create Boundaries for Multiple Hatches at Once
Cara Nash Snyder sent this tip for creating multiple hatch boundaries in AutoCAD. If you select one hatch and right-click, you get the option to generate a boundary, but if you select multiple hatches, you do not — unless you use this trick. View the complete tip and post your feedback.
Apply Hatch to an Unclosed Area
Levi Connolly shared this useful AutoCAD tip. If you need to insert a hatch in an area that isn't completely closed, this tip can help you achieve that. View the complete tip and post your feedback.
Inventor Tip: Associate Text to Views
Have you ever added text to an IDW or DWG file in Inventor and moved the view, only to have the text stay when the view moves? This tip from David Edward Gaskill illustrates how to attach text to views in Inventor. View the complete tip and post your feedback.
