KeyShot Online Tutorial Demonstrates Fade Animation Feature
A short video tutorial on the KeyShot web site demonstrates the new fade animation feature of KeyShot v5. Users can fade a model in and out by animating opacity all at once or part by part, or to highlight only one part. Viewers can also download a free trial version of KeyShot.

Eurocom Provides Trade-in Discounts for Corporate Customers Who Upgrade Their Computers
The Eurocom Corporate Trade Up program allows corporate customers to trade in their desktop-centered hardware to fully upgradeable, high-performance Eurocom notebooks, mobile workstations, mobile servers, and PCs at a discounted price. The amount of the discount depends on the age, condition, and value of the trade-in, and is typically 5% to 20%.

Middle School Students Recognized for Developing Assistive Device
Students in an engineering class in Arlington, Virginia, have been recognized as the Autodesk Inventing the Future recipient for July. The students used Autodesk Fusion 360 software and 3D printers to develop a more sophisticated interface device for a man who communicates using a touchscreen computer.

Rand Worldwide's courseware division, ASCENT – Center for Technical Knowledge, has released more than 30 official training guides for Autodesk's 2015 software in the past four months. All released 2015 titles are available for purchase through ASCENT's online store.
Civil: LEAP Bridge Steel
Bentley Systems announced the availability of LEAP Bridge Steel for 3D modeling, design, analysis, and load rating of everyday steel bridges. The software adheres to AASHTO Load and Resistance Factor Design specifications. With LEAP Bridge Steel, users can create 3D models of bridge superstructures and substructures and evaluate alternative designs.
PLM: Intosite for iPad
Siemens PLM Software's Intosite for iPad is a location-aware application that displays product lifecycle management (PLM) and IT information from Intosite. This latest addition to Siemens' mobile PLM suite of apps enables users to access and share information remotely, view placemarks based on location and proximity, and more. Intosite for iPad is available at the Apple App Store.
