Frequent tipster Tawfik Shehata shares a tip regarding layer filters and management in AutoCAD. "If your drawing contains a large number of layers, this is a quick and easy method to monitor and control your layers' states and properties." View the complete tip and post your feedback.
Display Wipeouts Correctly when Inserting External Blocks
Spence Watson, a senior CAD operator, sent in this tip for getting wipeouts to display correctly in AutoCAD. "If you have ever inserted external blocks from another file or a template file, you've probably dealt with the wipeouts coming over displayed on top, forcing you to redefine the block after." View the complete tip and post your feedback.
Civil 3D Tip: Correct Grading Surface Contour Lines in Civil 3D
Tipster Mike Porter has a question for AutoCAD Civil 3D users: "Ever have one of those 'grade to elevation' gradings and the surface contour at the toe is all irregular or jagged?" View the complete tip and post your feedback.
