Newest version of bi-directional CATIA-SolidWorks translator continues to support SolidWorks 2006 and 2007 as well.

CCE announced that its SolidWorks interoperability product, CAT5Works, has been updated to support both 32- and 64-bit versions of SolidWorks 2008. The product will continue to work with SolidWorks 2006 and 2007 as well.

CAT5Works is a bidirectional CATIA-SolidWorks translator supporting translation of both CATIA v4 and v5 files. It works from within the SolidWorks environment and does not require a CATIA license or software to operate.

CCE offers a range of conversion solutions between CATIA, Pro/ENGINEER, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, and Mastercam systems. Parasolid, IGES, and STEP standards-based translators are available as well.
