Corel and Right Hemisphere Integrate Deep Exploration with Corel DESIGNER4 Jun, 2008
Incorporation of Deep Exploration Standard Edition into Corel DESIGNER Technical Suite will allow users to transform 3D CAD models and publish them into 2D graphics.
Corel Corporation and Right Hemisphere have joined forces to incorporate a special version of Right Hemisphere's Deep Exploration Standard Edition into the next release of Corel DESIGNER Technical Suite.
The addition of Right Hemisphere's Deep Exploration software will give Corel users the ability to transform 3D CAD models and publish them into accurate 2D graphics without having to purchase additional CAD software.
Available in two versions, Right Hemisphere's Deep Exploration is a client software application that allows users to transform, author, and publish lightweight 2D and 3D product graphics using existing engineering CAD design data and other digital content. The Deep Exploration Standard Edition version automatically translates, optimizes, and repairs a variety of 3D graphics file formats. The Deep Exploration CCE version reportedly offers support for more than 80 file formats, including all of the file formats used by major CAD applications such as CATIA, Inventor, Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks, and Unigraphics NX. Deep Exploration CCE can also automatically publish 3D interactive Adobe PDF files.
"Corel has had a long and distinguished history of providing enterprises with leading graphics solutions for technical illustration work," said Michael Lynch, CEO of Right Hemisphere. "Right Hemisphere's technology is a natural complement to the features and functionality in the Corel DESIGNER Technical Suite. With our 3D format support and our automatic transform and publish capabilities integrated into this next generation version of the product, Corel DESIGNER users can look forward to getting even better leverage out of their existing 3D assets and spend less time and money creating their 2D technical illustrations."
