Adapx Unveils New Digital Pen Technology
19 May, 2008Capturx for Autodesk Design Review allows users to write on paper design files then download their remarks into various Autodesk software.
Adapx announced the upcoming availability of Capturx for Autodesk Design Review, a digital pen-and-paper solution that allows design and building teams to mark up printed designs and then download the data to directly integrate with Autodesk Design Review.
Slated for release in June, Capturx integrates directly with DWFs. DWF files are printed onto watermarked paper, then users can write on the printouts with a digital pen that records and saves data for later integration with Autodesk Design Review. The product allows users to print on plain paper as large as ANSI E-sized format.
Capturx for Autodesk Design Review also features predefined stamping options (approved, rejected, not to scale, final). In addition to integrating with Autodesk Design Review, Capturx works with Revit, AutoCAD, and other Autodesk applications, the company states.
