Sabbatical Week One

Greetings following my first week of sabbatical, and what a week it was!

Hello Summer

I am so grateful to have an employer that understands that employees need time away to refresh, recharge, and come back with a renewed energy and passion. Some of us use the time to go spend time with friends, family, education, reading, working on their home, camping, or traveling, but a 6 week sabbatical every 4 years provides a true length of time to disconnect. I will be checking email and posting to the blog occasionally so that things don't drop but for the most part I am out of office.

Calling All Autodesk Product Experts

Do you have a great tip or unique content that you would like to share with Autodesk product users around the world for fame and good karma? While on sabbatical starting Friday June 22nd, I would love to share your amazing content as guest posts for others to learn and benefit from so I can focus on the trails or road trips during my 6 week sabbatical and feel the need to blog less.

Not at AU London this week?

Could make the trip for on reason or another? The AU team has you covered! with the live stream of the keynotes.

AU London kicks off today, chock full of classes and learning sessions, mind-expanding keynotes, interactive exhibits, and receptions for networking with your peers. If you want to discover what lies ahead for the future of making and building, London’s Tobacco Dock is the place to be today.

Pride 2018 in Portland

Autodesk ‘s Portland office celebrated Pride this weekend. Autodesk is a proud sponsor and employees, families, friends, and community walked in the parade to show support for everyone. Autodesk believes strongly in inclusion not only in our workplace, but also our community, and our world. Our group were at the front of the parade this year with decorated Autodesk A logos.

Sabbatical Next Friday

Next Friday, I will begin 6 weeks off for the 5th time in 20 years at Autodesk. This is one of the best benefits of working for Autodesk. The 6 weeks provides enough time you can truly disconnect, recharge, and come back with a renewed energy and focus.
