New Adobe Tool Offers Web-Based File Control (Cadalyst Daily Archive)

Adobe today announced plans to launch a Web-based service to provide document control and security for Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel documents. The service targets small and midsized companies that share sensitive information both internally and outside the company. Adobe Document Center will offer many of the features found in Adobe's server solution, LiveCycle Policy Server. A new version of that enterprise-scale product was also announced today.
