NextComputing Adds Quadro FX 3700 GPUs to PCs

4 Mar, 2008

NextDimension Pro and Evo flextop computers now feature NVIDIA's newest high-end graphics card.

NextComputing has added NVIDIA Quadro FX 3700 graphics processing units (GPUs) from PNY Technologies to its NextDimension family of flextop personal supercomputers.

The NVIDIA Quadro FX 3700 is Energy Star 4.0 compliant and reportedly consumes less than 80 watts of power. NextComputing's family of flextop computers -- the NextDimension Pro and Pro HD and the NextDimension Evo and Evo HD -- provide portable solutions in small form factors for industries requiring high-performance processing and high-end graphics capabilities. The NextDimension products feature multiple PCIe slots and as many as two quad-core processors from Intel or AMD.

"All of our industry targets have a number of applications that are graphically demanding, as well as processor intensive. The addition of NVIDIA's Quadro 3700 board to our NextDimension line provides the best graphics solution for users who are not willing to sacrifice performance for a smaller system," said Bob Labadini, president and CTO of NextComputing.
