Measure from the Model
Tipster Tawfik Shehata shares a trick that allows you to update a distance from the drawing model in AutoCAD without using a measuring tool. "If you want to offset a line to a distance similar to a distance between two existing lines in your model, then you don't need to measure this distance, memorize it, and then re-enter it in the Offset command." Copy Objects Multiple Times at an Angle
Engineering specialist Allen Jessup explains how to copy an object multiple times at set angles in AutoCAD. "If you find it necessary to copy entities at a multiple of a set angle, select the object(s) to be copied, and click on the grip that represents the base point (if none of the grips will be the basepoint, use the basepoint option)." Inventor Tip: Lose the Unit String on G_L in Frame Generator
Chris Benner alerts readers to a tip published on his blog, CAD Tips, Tricks & Workarounds. This tip explains how to remove the units string from the length parameter of components generated by Autodesk Inventor's Frame Generator.

Users of Autodesk Fusion 360 can download a new plugin from Luxion that enables one-click access to transfer models from Fusion 360 to KeyShot. In addition, Luxion's LiveLinking technology allows any changes made in Fusion 360 to be transferred immediately to KeyShot.
