Unclutter Your View with the Clean Screen Command

LightWave 3D Group and Sketchfab Offer Free Plugin for Sharing 3D Models
The LightWave 3D Group and Sketchfab have created a free plugin for LightWave 3D software v11.5 or higher that exports 3D models from LightWave to the Sketchfab online platform. Sketchfab enables users to publish, share, embed, and view interactive 3D models in real time. Users can also add metadata, share models on the web, and remove models using the dashboard.
Free Plugin Available with Upgrade to Newly Released OctaneRender 2
Cloud graphics provider OTOY announced the availability of OctaneRender 2 real-time rendering software, which includes more than a dozen new features. For a limited time, users who upgrade to OctaneRender 2 can also upgrade an existing plugin license at no additional cost. OctaneRender 2 is available as a standalone client and also as plugins for Autodesk 3ds Max and Trimble SketchUp.

Eagle Point Software announced that an Android version of the mobile app for its Pinnacle Series Autodesk software training is now available for download from the Google Play Store. The free app offers mobile device access to the library of videos and cheat sheets available in Pinnacle Series.
Printers: HP Designjet T3500 and T7200 Large-Format Printers
HP has launched the Designjet T3500 and T7200 printers. The Designjet T3500 Production eMultifunction Printer (eMFP) is intended for use by enterprises; the HP Designjet T7200 Production Printer is built for high-volume print demands. Both models offer black-and-white and full-color output.
3D Printers: EOS M 290 Direct Metal Laser-Sintering System
EOS's newly released M 290 system has a build volume of 9.8" x 9.8" x 12.8" for producing high-quality metal components, spare parts, and prototypes. Among the features of the M 290 is an EOSTATE PowderBed, in which a camera built into the process chamber monitors the powder bed, following powder deposition and exposure by means of still images.
MCAD: WEBENCH Altium Connector
The new WEBENCH Altium Connector, for creating and simulating circuit designs, is an interface between Altium Designer and Texas Instruments' online WEBENCH Power Designer. WEBENCH Altium Connector is available to Altium Designer subscribers as a cost-free extension.
Spatial, a Dassault Systèmes subsidiary and provider of 3D development components, and OMAX, a provider of abrasive water-jet solutions, have created the Intelli-CAM software for OMAX JetMachining Centers (free to OMAX JetMachining Center owners). Intelli-CAM imports CAD files from various 3D sources, then converts the geometry into full 3D paths suitable for water-jet cutting.
