Ideate Offers Free Trial of Sticky App for Revit 2016 Users
Ideate Software is offering a free trial of its newly released Ideate Sticky app for Autodesk Revit. With Ideate Sticky, users can connect non-BIM (building information modeling) data from Excel files into Revit projects. Text and other tabular data can be formatted inside Excel or Revit. The fully functional trial version allows for 25 uses.

Dassault Systèmes has launched a SolidWorks for Entrepreneurs Program that will give selected early-stage businesses access to complete licenses of 3D design applications including SolidWorks 3D CAD, SolidWorks Simulation, and SolidWorks Composer, plus 10+ hours of free online learning with MySolidWorks.com. An application fee of $200 is required, of which 80% goes to support the Rwanda High School Girls Scholarship Program.
RTC 2016 Presentation Proposals Due By August 28, 2015
Organizers of the twelfth Revit Technology Conference (RTC) Australasia are now accepting abstract submissions. The conference will be held May 12–14, 2016 in Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia. Sessions can take the form of labs, technical presentations, or facilitated forums. Case studies demonstrating innovative or well-developed practice are welcomed.

TEDCF Launches Second in Nine-Part Autodesk Inventor 2016 Training Series
TEDCF Publishing, a developer of interactive, multimedia training courses, has released "Autodesk Inventor 2016: Assemblies and Advanced Concepts." This 11.5-hour training course incorporates concepts such as iParts, iFeatures, kinematics, adaptive parts, and the Design Accelerator. This course is currently available as a direct download or through the TEDCF Streaming Video Service. A USB drive version will become available on August 31.
