The organizers of SolidWorks World 2016 have issued a call for presentations on topics related to the use of SolidWorks 3D design software. The conference is scheduled for January 31–February 3, 2016, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas, Texas.

TEDCF Releases Inventor 2016 Drafting Course
TEDCF Publishing, a producer of multimedia software training courses, announced the availability of Autodesk Inventor 2016: 2D Drafting and Customization. This 6.5-hour course describes how to create 2D drawings for parts and assemblies, along with all the commands associated with 2D drawings. This course is the third in the company's nine-course series for Autodesk Inventor 2016.
AEC: Autodesk Stingray
Autodesk released the Stingray real-time engine, designed to create 3D games or for use in the AEC industry to make building information modeling (BIM)-informed 3D visualizations in 3ds Max interactive in a real-time environment. According to the company, changes made in 3ds Max can occur immediately in the Stingray engine.
Greenlee introduced its BendWorks software for Autodesk Revit and Revit MEP, which reportedly helps designers optimize conduit runs more efficiently. According to the company, BendWorks combines electrical trade knowledge and Greenlee bending parameters to help users create export-ready conduit runs for prefabrication or on-site bending.
