Those who register for the Spring BIMForum, "BIM and the Built Environment," before March 18 can save $155 on registration fees. After that date, the rate will be $750. The building information modeling (BIM)-focused event will explore the ways in which architects, engineers, and builders use BIM to create and use data to improve the methods of designing and constructing structures for and within the built environment.

Autodesk Invites Manufacturing Community to Choose Inventor of the Year
Voting is now open for the 2015 Inventor of the Year competition. The winner will be chosen from among the dozen companies featured as 2015 monthly Autodesk Inventing the Future honorees, all of which use Autodesk software products. Voting will close February 10, 2016, at 5 p.m. Pacific time.

AMUG Offers Scholarships to Educator and College Student
The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) is accepting applications for two scholarships for additive manufacturing and 3D printing education and professional development at its annual conference. The scholarships cover travel, lodging, meals, and conference registration fees. Applications are being accepted until February 15, 2016.

Building Content Summit 2016 Accepting Nominations for BCS 50
Organizers of the Building Content Summit, to be held in Scottsdale, Arizona, July 11–12, 2016, are accepting nominations for the BCS 50 awards. The BCS 50 recognizes 50 architects, engineers, software and service providers, and others who are actively engaged in innovation and thought leadership related to building information modeling (BIM) content. Nominations will close January 27, 2016.

The ThinkPad P40 Yoga from Lenovo is a mobile workstation that incorporates digital sketching capability with a pen-and-touchscreen interface.
