Submissions are now being accepted for the UK Tekla Awards, designed to recognize the hard work and innovation that goes into creating 3D models for the construction industry. Trimble Tekla software must have been used in designing and 3D modeling structures submitted for consideration, or must have aided collaboration in the digital construction process.

General: 3D PDF Maker for AutoCAD
ProgeSOFT's 3D PDF Maker for AutoCAD interacts with the user's copy of AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT to create 3D PDF files with text, graphics, and interactive links as well as embedded 3D models generated from the AutoCAD program or taken directly from saved DWG and DXF drawing files. The recipient can display and edit the project by using Adobe Reader/Acrobat Reader DC.

Workstations: MTower CX
The MTower CX line of compact workstations (starting at $1,199) from @Xi Computer is based on the latest v3 edition Intel Xeon 1650 and 1660 processors. Clocked in excess of 4 GHz and configurable with the newest generation of Nvidia Quadro Maxwell video cards, the MTower CX workstations feature six or eight cores.

MCAD: IronCAD Mechanical Add-On
The IronCAD Mechanical add-on offers a complete library of tools including standard fasteners, steel sections, pipes, flanges, and a wide set of utilities intended to increase productivity in the design process. Because knowledge and rules are built directly into the tools, typical day-to-day tasks such as Bill of Materials generation, component placement, and sizing are much simpler, according to the company.
