Jon Peddie Research Launches Technology Advancement Award
The Laval Virtual conference on virtual reality and the City of Laval, France, will be the first recipients of a new award from Jon Peddie Research (JPR). The JPR Technology Advancement Award will "celebrate companies, individuals, and organizations that have helped nurture and protect new technologies enabling further development," according to the organization.
CAD Society Honors Industry Leaders
The CAD Society, a not-for-profit industry association, has announced three of the winners of this year's CAD Society Awards. Blake Courter of Stratasys won the Peter Marks Pioneer Award; David Cohn of 4D Technologies won the Joe Greco Community Award; and Peter Schroer of ARAS won the Leadership Award. The Lifetime Achievement Award winner will be announced during the Congress on the Future of Engineering Software (COFES 2016), to be held April 7–10 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Tech Soft 3D, a provider of software development tools, has released Tetra4D Enrich. The new solution enables users without programming expertise to create interactive 3D PDFs inside Adobe Acrobat. The resulting 3D PDF includes all the data needed to support any workflow. Anyone can view and interact with the documents using Adobe Reader.
Graphics Cards: NVIDIA Quadro M6000 24GB
The Quadro M6000 24GB graphics processing unit (GPU), which doubles the graphics memory of its predecessor, is intended for interactively visualizing large digital models in high fidelity. The GPU is built on NVIDIA's Maxwell architecture and supports interactive global illumination for applications such as automotive design.
