CadFaster announced the launch of CadFaster|Engine, a 3D rendering library that features the company's software-based polygon-reduction technologies and supports both DirectX and OpenGL drivers.
CadFaster|Engine is available for developers of CAD/computer-aided engineering, simulation, animation, visualization, and scientific 3D software. The technology also can be used in other product lifecycle management sector applications that use 3D graphics, the company states.

"This will answer our customers' immediate need for speed and image quality in their 3D-enabled applications, helping them reduce development costs and enabling them to deliver cutting-edge products faster than ever."
