New SolidWorks for Dummies is First in Popular Series to Focus on 3D MCAD Software

Wiley Publishing has launched SolidWorks for Dummies ($29.99), the first 3D mechanical design offering to enter the For Dummies series. Authored by SolidWorks expert and Cadalyst author Greg Jankowski, the book is written in the series' signature conversational style and is designed for seasoned users of AutoCAD 2D software, SolidWorks newcomers and long-time SolidWorks users alike, the publisher reports. SolidWorks has more than 430,000 users in more than 70,000 companies throughout the world.

 

SolidWorks for Dummies covers SolidWorks 2006 and is applicable to earlier versions. It includes a companion CD with tutorials and demos.
