Trelleborg Sealing Solutions’ CAD Service Now Available in Inch Version

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, a provider of industrial sealing and bearing systems, introduced its new CAD service that, along with metric sizes, now includes inch version CAD files for linear hydraulic seals.
Users can choose and customize how they would like to receive files, which are available as a download to their hard drive, as an email attachment, or as an imported file directly to their open CAD program.
"We know our customers recognize that our seals are integral to the performance of their products. This additional development of our online CAD service brings that integration even further upstream," said Colin Macqueen, technology director of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Americas. "The benefits to system designers are considerable as they can incorporate their seal selection directly into their design quickly, easily, and with reduced opportunities for error."
Features of the CAD Service include these:
- access to seal profiles for use in component design
- inch and metric sizes
- choice between 2D and 3D drawings in a number of CAD formats
- drawings may be sent via email, downloaded to your computer, or imported directly into your CAD program
