UGS PLM Solutions launches I-deas 11 NX Series
25 Apr, 2004UGS PLM Solutions shipped I-DEAS 11 NX Series, the next stop along the road to eventual merger with NX 2 (the product formerly known as Unigraphics). New 3D Section Views meet ASME Y14.41 standards for digital product definition data, or data sets. You can now fillet tangent to three surfaces, and a new algorithm supports variable radius filleting. Assembly Reflect enables changes to the reflection type, plane, owner, and reflected entity name. Meshing now includes a Tetrahedron meshing assistant. NX Nastran is now integrated as an I-deas task.
